I left NYC publishing and Simon & Schuster after ten years editing nonfiction and fiction books to start my own writing career. I've been published by HarperCollins and The New York Times, Gourmet, Afar Travel (among many others), most frequently on the topic of food. Among recent projects, as an essay writer, I produced 450 pages of the LLBean online catalog maximized for SEO, wrote 10 fundraising appeals campaigns for the largest land trust in New England, did a long piece for Yankee Magazine about how oysters can save the world. Also recently, I was the founding editor of two Maine food publications, ZEST Maine Magazine (2014-2015) and Edible Maine magazine (2016), building up a stable of writers, photographers, and stylists, all working remotely.
